In memory of Mrs. Tina Burns instilled in me a simple, but necessary, lifelong skill...typing! Truly, I am grateful!

Now that our daughter has completed her freshman year of college, we have seen first-hand how well DSHA prepared her to succeed.

In honor of Thanks to Mr. Dawson's enthusiasm and passion for history, I pursued history as my profession. His excitement for history lead me to earn to a BA in history and an MA in public history. I thank Mr. Dawson and DSHA for leading me to my career and passion.

Special thanks to Mr. Nurre for instilling a love of writing in our daughters and for teaching them the skills to express their ideas with clarity and confidence in their own voices.

DSHA helped instill confidence to face life challenges through "critical thinking" and faith. A few top teachers that were of high influence for me included: Mr. Heun, Mr. Grandy, Mrs. Papin, Mrs. Azpell, Mrs. Von Ruden.

In honor of the teachers at DSHA who inspired me and gave me an excellent foundation for my academic career and my career as an employment-based immigration lawyer. I specifically want to say "thank you" to and honor Mr. Grandy, Mr. Heun and Mr. Rainier.

The faculty, staff, and teachers at DSHA are truly special! A special shoutout to the Advancement Team - your hard work and dedication to bringing the DSHA community together does not go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do. You absolutely rock!!

Mr. Grandy, when you jumped on our desks to recite Shakespeare, to get as excited about his writing as you were, is a memory I’ll never forget!

So many teachers and staff members at DSHA were instrumental in building my confidence and instilling my love for learning. I especially loved studying with Mr. McGinn, and working under his leadership at The Word. His kindness and humor, and his enthusiasm for his subject, brought a joy to my school days that was so appreciated, and memorable!

My husband, Mario and I happily contribute to DSHA because we believe in the mission of developing the whole person at Divine Savior Holy Angels. We appreciate the consistent, hard work from the entire staff including the teachers as well. Serving on the Alum Board for the last 4 years, and assisting with the acquisitions for the auction, I have had the opportunity to see how important these contributions are to helping DSHA achieve its goal of developing young women in their faith, heart, and intellect. Most importantly beyond graduation, they continue to live lives that make a difference.
