Every Patriot Plays A Part: The Davidson Day Fund!

The Davidson Day Fund is the school’s top philanthropic priority each year. Every gift has a real-time impact, supporting our classrooms, growing our teachers, and elevating the student experience. It’s a true community effort, powered each year by parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who all choose to show up for Davidson Day. Any gift, no matter the size, makes a difference.

The Davidson Day Fund covers 4% of the school’s annual budget. Everything from new furniture to employee salaries, the Davidson Day Fund bridges the gap between our school being great and excellent.

Parents are the largest group contributing to the Davidson Day Fund – it’s our school and this is how we show our support for our children and for each other. Additionally, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, corporations, foundations, and friends of Davidson Day are asked to give.

Gifts can be made online by credit or debit card, by check mailed to the school, or as cash. We also accept stock and securities transfers, gifts through a donor-advised fund, and recurring monthly gifts. Many employers match charitable giving, too — check with your HR office to see if your gift can go even further.

Our fiscal year runs between July 1st and June 30th every year. We ask that pledges for our fall campaign are fulfilled by May 15th, 2026.

Yes! Many companies will match employee contributions to Davidson Day. Inquire through your company’s human resources department for instructions.

Every gift elevates and strengthens the school right now while simultaneously building toward what Davidson Day will become next. It’s a shared investment amongst around community, with families, faculty, and alumni backing the same goals at every level. Additionally, because we are a 501(c)(3) organization, gifts to the Davidson Day Fund are tax-deductible, a win-win!

We ask that you participate at the highest amount or level you feel is feasible. Every gift matters, regardless of amount, and every gift makes a difference!

Boost My School has no control over third-party processing fees. Third-party processing fees are subject to change. Below is an illustration of the processing fees:

• Visa or Mastercard: 2.9% + $0.30 per payment
• American Express or Diners Club: 3.5% + $0.30 per payment
• Additional 1% for international card transactions

• 1% + $0.30 per payment

• 3.5% + $0.30 per payment

Donor-advised funds

• 2.9% + $0.30 per payment
