CWA Homecoming & Alumni Weekend 2025
Do I have to RSVP for CWA Homecoming & Alumni Weekend? Am I able to just show up?
While RSVPing is not required, it is incredibly helpful to the campus organizers to ensure we have enough supplies and catering available for attendees.
Who can attend CWA Homecoming & Alumni Weekend?
Any and all CWA community members are able to participate in our Homecoming activities on Friday - including friends, family, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and members of our Society of Elders!
Saturday will have a particular focus on alumni and their guests, as well as current faculty & staff, and our Society of Elders!
Will there be food during the Friday Homecoming Events?
Yes! We will have Food Trucks from 3:30-8pm and Deano’s Diner will be open during the Football Game beginning at 7pm. Additionally, there will be food inside the Tarrier Beer Garden.
Who can enter the Tarrier Beer Garden?
Any Tarriers over the age of 21 are eligible for entry into the Beer Garden. You’ll just need your ID and we will provide you with a wristband. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
What about my children? Are they able to join me in the Tarrier Beer Garden?
Children are to be supervised by a parent at all times during the Homecoming festivities. Unfortunately, our youngest Tarriers will not be able to enter the Beer Garden. However, there are plenty of athletic events to enjoy beginning at 3:30pm and through the conclusion of the evening! We hope that you will consider stopping by the spirit store and visit our face painting station, support alums being inducted into the athletic hall of fame, grab some food from one of our Food Trucks, keep warm by the bonfire, and cheer on our athletes as they compete in tennis, volleyball, and football!
How many beers/drinks can I have? Will there be non-alcoholic beverages inside of the Tarrier Beer Garden?
Each attendee will receive 2 drink tickets upon entry that can be used for either alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.
What does the Alumni Weekend (Saturday Reunion) Programming entail?
We will begin in the Murray Commons in our Middle School for check-in and Welcome Brunch. Check-in will begin at 10:30am and food will be served by 11am with a brief program featuring a welcome from our Head of School Rachel Rippl and our Director of Development & Alumni Relations De’Andre Jones. Following brunch, we will provide Campus Tours and then there will be Cluster Reunions/Receptions taking place across campus in the following locations based on Grad Years:
1965-1975: Murray Middle School Library & Entry Way
1976-1985: Lower School Commons
1986-2000: Upper School Phyllis Kriese Commons
2001-2012: Robert Camner Language & Performing Arts Center (LAPAC)
2013-2025: US Library
More details will be shared soon via email.
I am not getting emails about these types of events. How can I change that?
That’s an easy fix! You can email [email protected] and a member of the Development & Alumni Relations team would be happy to update your communication preferences for the future.
