CWA Celebration of Life: Phyllis Kriese
About
You are warmly invited to join family and friends for Celebration of Life honoring the life and legacy of Phyllis Kriese on the Charles Wright Academy campus. Phyllis joined Charles Wright Academy in 1980 where she became affectionately known as “Mrs. Kriese.” For 32 years, she brightened the halls with her warmth and kindness, and made lifelong friends who became like family. Despite retiring in 2012, her spirit has remained an integral part of the school’s fabric.
In October of 2024, Phyllis returned to campus to enjoy an afternoon lunch alongside members of the Society of Elders, faculty, alumni, and current students in the Upper School Commons which is named in her honor. She was met with applause and many smiles which speaks to the tremendous impact she’s continued to have on the Tarrier community.
Join us in the Middle School - Murray Commons from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 as we pay tribute to Mrs. Kriese.
