The best teacher and coach I ever had!

I taught and coached track for 13 years.Jerry taught the value of treating everybody the same .Thanks Jerry. By the way I hated running cross country.It still hurts.

Jerry Riordan is the focal point of so many of my stories from CBA days. I finished ahead of so many more natural runners than I because of the way I was coached by Riordan. I treasure the nickname he gave me... The Hatchet Man.

Jerry’s influence and inspiration as a coach and educator is unmatched. The best…..!!

Jerry was a big part of my CBA experience. He taught us some real life lessons: hard work pays off; life is not fair; your team mates are important to your success and success builds respect. So happy he is being honored. God Bless him and his wife!!!

Coach was one of the most influential people in my life. He helped me when i needed it the most. After becoming a teacher and cross country coach myself I looked back to what I learned from him.. His lessons made me a better teacher and coach. Without him I wonder where i would be today. Thanks and God Bless.
