Who is eligible to attend the Broadway outing?
This event is exclusively for current CBA mothers and their CBA sons. The outing is designed as a special mother-son experience for our CBA community. Siblings, spouses, grandparents, extended family members, and other guests are not permitted.
Can I attend without my son, or can my son attend without me?
No. This is specifically a Mother-Son Broadway Outing, so each registration must include a CBA mom and her CBA son. Moms and sons must attend the event together.
Can I register more than one CBA son?
If you have more than one son who is currently a CBA student, you may register them. Each attendee must have his own paid ticket.
What is included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes round-trip charter motorcoach transportation from CBA to New York City, lunch at John’s Pizzeria in Times Square, a ticket to the 3:00 PM performance of The Outsiders, and transportation back to CBA following the show.
Can we meet the group in New York City or provide our own transportation?
No. To keep the group together and ensure everything runs smoothly, all attendees must travel to and from New York City on the CBA charter motorcoach. There will be no separate arrival or departure arrangements.
Can I purchase a ticket for another family member or bring a guest instead of my CBA son?
No. Tickets are reserved specifically for CBA moms and their CBA sons. Tickets may not be used for siblings, friends, extended family members, or other guests.
What happens if the trip does not reach the minimum number of participants?
The outing requires a minimum of 90 participants to take place. If the minimum is not reached by the registration deadline, the trip will be canceled and all payments will be refunded.
Is there a limit to how many people can attend?
Yes. Space is limited to a maximum of 112 participants, so registration may close before the deadline if the trip reaches capacity.
What is the schedule for the day?
The tentative schedule is:
10:00 AM – Meet at CBA
10:30 AM – Motorcoach departs for NYC
12:30 PM – Lunch at John’s Pizzeria in Times Square
3:00 PM – The Outsiders
Approximately 6:00 PM – Depart NYC
Approximately 7:30 PM – Return to CBA
Times are approximate and may change due to traffic or other circumstances.
Will there be free time in New York City?
This is a planned group outing rather than a day trip with open sightseeing time. Attendees should plan to remain with the group and follow the scheduled itinerary throughout the day.
What should we wear?
There is no formal dress code for the outing. We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, as there may be some walking between the motorcoach, restaurant, and theater.
Are tickets transferable if we can no longer attend?
Because this is a private CBA Mothers’ Club event with limited seating and transportation arrangements, registrations should not be transferred or resold without approval from the Mothers’ Club. Please contact us directly if your plans change.
