What is the CBA Annual Fund?
The CBA Annual Fund is our year long fundraising campaign. It begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th the following year. Gifts to the CBA Annual Fund help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and what it actually costs to deliver a superior educational experience to every student seeking the CBA Brotherhood.
Why CBA?
Inspired by the teaching of St. John Baptist de La Salle and grounded in a proud tradition, CBA challenges young men to grow into confident, capable leaders. It’s a place where values like faith, discipline, service and brotherhood aren’t just taught, but they are lived every day.
That experience is made possible not only by our faculty and programs but also by the ongoing support of alumni, families, and friends who believe in what CBA stands for. While tuition covers a portion of the school’s operating costs, it doesn’t cover everything. The CBA Annual Fund helps to bridge that gap and ensure the full CBA experience remains strong and accessible.
This support touches nearly every part of student life. It helps maintain academic excellence, strengthens student support services, and expands access through financial aid. It also gives the school the flexibility to respond to new opportunities and unexpected challenges—something that’s become more important than ever.
How does my gift make an impact?
By contributing to the CBA Annual Fund, donors help sustain the mission: to develop young men of character, guided by faith, ready to lead. This shared commitment strengthens every classroom, every team, and every member of the community.

I have made a gift to the Annual Fund every year and want to continue to do the same thing, what area do I select?
All Annual Fund donations go to Area of Greatest Need unless otherwise designated on the gift form. If you would like to continue to make general donations to the Annual Fund please select the options under Areas of Greatest Need.
How will I receive an acknowledgement for my gift?
After CBA receives your gift you will receive an acknowledgement letter that you can use for tax purposes. Acknowledgement letters are normally mailed out every Friday that the Institutional Advancement Office is open.
All gifts to CBA are fully tax-deductible according to IRS regulations and may be made in the form of cash, check, credit card or stock transfer.

Can CBA receive a matching gift from my employer?
Most likely, yes. Many employers offer matching gift programs which effectively doubles the amount of a donation made by an employee or their spouse. CBA credits the donor for the total gift.
Can I make a gift in memory or in honor of someone?
Yes! When you make your donation with will be an option to make your gift in memory or in honor of someone. Your gift in memory/honor will be listed on the Annual Fund Page and in the Summer Edition of the CBA Chronicles.
