Get Ready for the Cougar Stomp Fund Run!

Who’s excited for another AMAZING Cougar Stomp? This cherished Cataldo tradition is one of the most anticipated events of the year — and the perfect way to kick off the new school year with energy, teamwork, and community spirit!

During the Cougar Stomp, our students lead the charge. They team up with classmates, set personal goals, and invite family, friends, teachers, and neighbors to support their efforts. Each student will focus on two areas:

• Performance – setting age-appropriate fitness goals
• Pledges – gathering sponsorships from their circle of supporters

They’ll be training their bodies and minds, all while raising funds that help support school programs, classroom resources, and essential needs not covered by tuition.

This year, we’re focusing on effort, growth, and encouragement — reminding students that “comparison is the thief of joy.” Whether they’re running their fastest lap or asking for their first pledge, every student has the power to make a difference.

Here’s what to look forward to:

• A high-energy kickoff assembly
• Raffle prizes, spirit gear, and school-wide excitement
• Friendly classroom competitions — like earning a pizza party when the whole class reaches 100% participation (just one $10+ pledge per student!)
• Our school-wide fundraising goal: $175 per student

A few important dates:

• Fundraising Starts: Monday, September 22nd
• Cougar Stomp Run Day: Friday, October 10th at Cannon Hill Park
• Final Day to Donate: Wednesday, October 15th

Rock Pile Enhancement

The first $60,000 raised by the Cougar Stomp goes towards things like school programs, learning materials, our beloved campus, and other expenses not covered by tuition. Any additional gifts above $60,000 will be put towards cleaning up and enhancing the rock pile outside our 18th street entrance and other projects.
