I LOVE BROOKS
On Thursday, February 12, 2026 (Head of School John Packard’s birthday!), we celebrated our annual Giving Day and this year’s theme, I LOVE BROOKS. It was such a wonderful day full of so much love for Brooks! Thanks to all of you, we surpassed our goal of 1,000 donors, with 1,062 people showing their support for Brooks with a gift to the Brooks Fund. Your generosity truly makes a difference. Thank you! We look forward to updating our entire community on the highlights of the day, the winners of our leaderboards and incentives and the impact Giving Day has on our programs. If you missed Giving Day and would like to support the Brooks Fund, please visit our website at www.brooksschool.org/giving or call the Advancement Office at (978) 725-6243. Brooks is truly something quite special. There is a quiet magic to this place—an energy that powers our entire community, whether we all consciously recognize it or not. We are charged by this numinous slice of land and by the history shaped by those who came before us. My hope is that we leave it even more inspiring for those still to come.

Let’s Go Brooks!!!
Brooks gave me discipline. It showed me how strong and resilient I am. It showed me that I am not what I think, or what others think about me. It was a catalyst along the way for choosing forgiveness and understanding. For me Brooks is an extraordinary story of vibrant innovation and giving kids a wide spectrum education and ground to stand on… now in this especially turbulent world "out there". But we learn the world is actually not “out there”, it is "in here"!! Our minds process everything in how we perceive the world and how we meet the world "out there". Meditational awareness will be the next innovation. To teach all of us not just how to do, but how to BE. Brooks gives everyone the possibility to see through the veil of illusions and dismiss distractions and do the right thing.
