For Brooks: The Final Stretch

Thanks to the generosity of more than 1,500 supporters, we are 91% of the way to our ambitious $2,665,000 Brooks Fund goal. With just weeks remaining until the close of our fiscal year, the finish line is in sight - only $200,000 to go! The Brooks Fund is the foundation of philanthropic support at Brooks and provides the flexible resources needed to sustain the exceptional educational experience that defines our school. Just as important as the dollars raised is the breadth of participation. We know that the final $200,000 won’t come from one person alone. It will come from a community united for Brooks. Whether you give $25, $250, or $25,000, your gift moves us closer to our goal and strengthens the Brooks experience for every student. Please consider renewing your support by June 30, 2026.

Q:

Are there other ways to make a gift to Brooks School?

A:

The easiest way to be counted is by making a secure online gift using this site. However, Brooks accepts donations through various methods. Listed below are the most common ways to give:

  • By mail: 1160 Great Pond Road, North Andover, MA 01845 (Checks must be made out to Brooks School and post-marked by June 30.)
  • By Venmo: @Brooksschool
  • By pledge: Make your pledge online through this site to be counted and we will send you a pledge payment reminder.

If you’d like to make a gift of securities (Bank: Morgan Stanley DTC 0015, Account: 357-020270, Account Name: Brooks School), contact Director of Advancement Services Heather Ferrara at [email protected] or (978) 725-6275 to let us know your gift is coming. She can also provide info about domestic and international Wire Transfers.

Q:

If I make a gift by check, will it be counted for this fiscal year?

A:

Yes! If your gift arrives on or before June 30, 2026, we will count it in our FY26 totals. If it arrives soon after, but is dated and postmarked before June 30, it will also be counted in our final FY26 results.

Q:

Will I receive a receipt for tax purposes?

A:

Yes, if you make a donation online, you will receive an immediate receipt in your email inbox. If you make a donation by another method, you will receive a receipt in the mail after your gift is processed.

Q:

Who do I contact with questions about my gift or my past giving?

A:

Contact Director of Advancement Services Heather Ferrara at [email protected] or (978) 725-6275.

Q:

If I make a pledge, will you remind me when a payment is due?

A:

Yes, pledge reminders will be sent via email to remind you of any upcoming pledge payment due dates. All payments are due by the close of the fiscal year on June 30, 2026 to be counted for FY26.

Q:

Why is June 30th your deadline?

A:

Brooks School operates on a fiscal year schedule which is between July 1 and June 30.

Q:

Can I give to a fund other than the Brooks Fund?

A:

While we encourage widespread support for the Brooks Fund (our annual fund), you are welcome to designate your gift to a specific fund or purpose at Brooks. Add a “note” to the bottom of your gift form.

Q:

What gift amount is the entry point for leadership annual giving at Brooks?

A:

With a generous gift of $10,000, donors are welcomed as Essential Stewards, the school’s leadership annual giving society. New this year, we introduced lower entry points for young alumni: $1,927 for alumni up to 15 years post-graduation and $500 for alumni who are 1 to 9 years post-graduation.
