What is the Benefit for Brooklyn Friends School?
The Benefit for Brooklyn Friends School is our fundraiser in support of Brooklyn Friends School’s mission. Proceeds help sustain academic excellence, financial aid, colleague support, and student programs.
When and where is the Benefit for BFS?
Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 6:30–11pm

What is the schedule for the evening?
Cocktails and passed appetizers
Dinner and program including live auction
Dancing, dessert, and celebration
What is the dress code?
Festive cocktail attire.
Will there be assigned seating?
Guests will receive their table assignments at check-in. Those who purchase a full table (Reserved or Host Committee) will be able to designate the guests seated at their table in advance. For guests purchasing individual tickets, we will make every effort to seat you with families from your child’s grade. However, we are not able to accommodate specific seating requests for individual ticket holders.
Is the event accessible?
Yes, there are no stairs leading to the venue and there are accessible stalls in both of the restrooms.
Will dinner be served?
Yes. The evening includes a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a full dinner, dessert, and an open bar.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Absolutely. Please indicate any special dietary needs after purchasing your ticket(s) by emailing us at [email protected].
Do I need a physical ticket?
No. Your name will be on the guest list at check-in.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Please notify us in advance so we can update the guest list.
Can I attend if I am not a BFS family member?
Yes! The Benefit is open to alumni, grandparents, friends, and all supporters of BFS.
What if I can’t attend but want to support the Benefit?
You can make a fully tax-deductible donation, and you can bid our online auction. Your support makes a meaningful impact.
Is this an adults-only event?
Yes, the Benefit is designed as an adult evening of celebration. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
When will the online auction open?
The online auction will open one week before the Benefit.
