What is the Fund for Brooklyn Friends?
The Fund for Brooklyn Friends School is our annual fundraising effort conducted between July 1 and June 30 to raise vital financial support for our entire community. All donations to the Fund for Brooklyn Friends School are fully tax deductible. For alumni, all gift made to the annual fund will automatically be dedicated to Financial Aid.
Why do gifts from BFS alumni matter?
When alumni give, it sends a message: that BFS is a place worth investing in, that our shared experiences mattered, and that we believe in building a strong, inclusive future for this community. Alumni participation also strengthens the school’s case for outside funding because foundations and donors often look at alumni engagement as a sign of a thriving, supported institution.
Ways to give to the Fund.
Gifts can be made in the form of credit card, cash, check (made payable to Brooklyn Friends School and sent to Brooklyn Friends School, 375 Pearl Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201), or appreciated stock. To donate stock, please inform the Advancement Office of your intentions and use the following information to transfer:

Brooklyn Friends School is a 501c3 organization and donations are fully tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes in the mail from the Advancement Office.
