Winni Classic Alumni Hockey Event

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Pop Whalen Ice & Arts Center

The Winni Classic will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday with a warm-up period preceding the puck drop. Alumni players will be assigned by class year to one of two teams, Blue vs. Maroon, and evenly distributed by age. Each team will include a few faculty, staff, and friends of the school. The game will be full ice, with two 20-minute halves of running time. You will receive your team assignment and jersey at check-in.

The reception will take place in the Pinkney Boathouse from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Help yourself to some delicious hor d’oeuvres prepared by our Dining Services team, grab a drink at the cash bar, and relive the thrills of the game with friends and faculty. All guests are welcome to attend.

Access to other campus buildings will be restricted throughout the day unless accompanied by a current Brewster faculty or staff member.

Full pads are required to participate, including helmets with face shields (half shield or a full cage/shield). Locker rooms with showers will be available prior to and following the game.

We’re out here for fun and want everyone heading home injury-free, so no checking or heavy contact during the game.
