1. What is the Annual Fund, and why does APDS need it?
The Annual Fund supports everything that keeps our campus in top condition — from new lockers and HVAC units to fresh paint, flooring, sidewalks, and campus golf carts. It’s how we maintain the excellence that’s earned Augusta Prep recognition as the #1 school in Augusta and #9 in the state of Georgia by Niche.com. Gifts made to the Annual Fund are the single most important way you can give to the school. If you make one gift a year to Augusta Prep, please choose the Annual Fund.
2. Doesn't my tuition already cover this?
Tuition covers the classroom experience, but it doesn’t cover everything that keeps our campus running at a 5-star level. The Annual Fund carries us the rest of the way.
Who's expected to give?
We invite every member of the Augusta Prep community to give, and ask that every family make Augusta Prep a philanthropic priority. All gifts count, and every gift makes a difference!
How much am I expected to give?
We hope that members of the Augusta Prep community make the school a philanthropic priority.
There’s no expected gift amount – we ask simply that you consider a gift that is personally meaningful and that makes sense for your family.
Does my employer offer matching gifts, and how do I submit one?
Many employers match charitable gifts dollar-for-dollar (or more) — a simple way to double your impact. Check with your HR department, and let our office know if your gift qualifies so we can help facilitate the match.
Is my gift tax-deductible? Will I receive a receipt?
Yes. Augusta Prep is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive a written acknowledgment for your records.
