What does my Viking Fund Gift Support?
Your gift helps support the priorities that make the Wood experience possible—including academics, student activities, athletics, technology, campus needs, student experiences, and other areas where additional resources can make an immediate impact.
Is the Viking Fund different from tuition?
Yes. Tuition covers only a portion of the actual cost of educating each student. Philanthropic support helps bridge that gap and allows Archbishop Wood to provide opportunities and resources beyond what tuition alone can support.
How does my gift make a difference?
Every gift matters. Whether you give $25, $100, $500, or more, your support helps strengthen the programs, experiences, and opportunities that allow our students to learn, lead, serve, and grow.
Can I make a recurring gift?
Yes! Recurring gifts are a convenient way to provide consistent support throughout the year. Even a small monthly gift can make a meaningful difference over time.
Can my employer match my gift?
Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double—or sometimes increase—the impact of your donation. Check with your employer to see if your gift is eligible.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Gifts to Archbishop Wood High School may be tax-deductible as permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances.

Can I make a gift on behalf of my class or class year?
Yes! Alumni can designate their class year when making a gift. Class participation helps us celebrate the continued connection of Vikings across generations.
