Inspiration: Around 2017 or 18 I realized that I had done drawings of places that were important to our family. One of those places was Hyde School where we had spent a great deal of time from 1996 to 2000. This drawing and some 50 -60 others would become a book that is still in progress. This drawing was one of the first in that series
Frank Roberts Mr. Roberts was born and grew up in Connecticut. Throughout his education and early life he was encouraged to be an artist but his college education turned to architecture as his profession. He attended the University of Cincinnati’s Architectural School and upon graduation worked for several prominent firms in Connecticut. He and his wife spent time travelling in Europe before opening his own firm. These early years, that included two daughters, were spent in a small town just outside of New York City before moving to Maine permanently in 2004. They now have a residence on the coast of Maine where he and his family have created what they consider the ideal place for them. The coast of Maine in general and Acadia National Park in particular have become the focus for his art.
