Marsha Donahue is a native of central Maine and holds fine art degrees from MECA and American University. She recently moved to Belfast from Millinocket where she owned North Light Gallery for seventeen years. Trained in oil painting and printmaking, she is self-taught in watercolor following a fire that destroyed her studio in 1996. She returned to oil painting in the last decade but teaches watercolor privately. Her greatest influence has always been Cezanne following a show she saw at the Phillips Collection in 1969. Her work may be seen at North Light Gallery in Belfast, Bayview Gallery in Brunswick, Caldbeck in Rockland and Boston Art, Inc.
