“This is one of a series I did inspired by building facades in places like New Orleans, Cuba, Mexico and Guatemala. I was attracted to the colors and surfaces of the buildings there and photographed them extensively.”

Jeff Jennings ’72 was born in Belfast, Maine, and grew up on the Maine coast. He attended the Museum Art School in Portland, Oregon (now the Pacific Northwest College of Art), where he received his BFA. He returned to New England, where he worked as a boat builder in Maine and Massachusetts. He then enrolled in the graduate program at the University of New Orleans and received his MFA. He taught at the University of New Orleans, Loyola University, Delgado Community College, Country Day Creative Arts Program, and Louise S. McGehee School. Jeff lives in Houston, Texas, where he devotes his time to working in the studio.
