Hosted by 4th-grade parent K.B. Koffler-Teo
Fourth graders, this is a class you can’t take anywhere else!
This is tofu magic—handmade by you, and you’ll even get to take home your very own tofu creation. Fourth graders will turn simple soymilk into fresh, delicious tofu, step by step. We’ll blend, stir, and press, watching the magic happen as silky soy milk transforms into soft, pillowy, tasty curds. Then, we will have plant-forward snacks made from our fresh tofu blocks plus cold yuba, green apple, and kimchi noodles. The soymilk and yuba are handcrafted right here in Oakland, California—the very same kind used by Michelin-honored chefs.
Curious, creative, and just a little messy—you don’t want to miss this unique class! Spots are limited. 4th graders only, please!
