Turned at the intersection of three branches from a downed cherry tree in Falmouth, this bowl is 8 1/2” W x 2” H and curves with wild, organic grace. Its natural edge resolves like the rim of a windswept cliff, raw and untamed, echoing the tree’s original silhouette. At the center, a knot once formed in silent repair – a quiet imperfection – is now filled with a glimmer of ocean-blue resin. Smooth to the touch and alive in texture and tone, the bowl is both vessel and sculpture – a story of growth, fracture, healing, and beauty in contrast.
